At the September 2018 monthly meeting there was some discussion of the idea of setting up a "Bee Buddy" system within the Sunshine Coast Beekeepers Group.

The idea is that you don't have to know everything about beekeeping - which none of us do - to pass on what you know, or learn, to like-minded people in your area. As most of us have discovered, it's great to have somebody else handy when you have a bee problem, to be able to discuss the situation with, and try to come up with a solution.

 

 A "Bee Buddy" register has been established so that members can easily find nearby beekeepers who may be willing and able to fulfil such a role. If you're willing to go onto the register, please contact the Club Secretary - Bill Spencer (secretaryscbees@gmail.com) and your name will be added. Please don't be shy about adding your name and any stipulations, such as an area or locality limitation, or availability and/or time constraints.
